God’s Faithfulness to Grassroots Heroes

Greg and I had the privilege of hosting for a night Vincent Luwizhi. Vince is a Zimbabwean YWAM community developer and is going to be partnering with Grassroots Heroes at Grippis Farm. I am so excited to have him on with us. We are already super blessed to be working with Ron and Angela Chideme with YWAM and God just continues to send His blessings to us.

I will be able to share his bio with you soon. I can tell you that he is a man who heart is on fire for God and for those God sends him to help. A man of faith. We were blessed to be able to hear his story (and poor guy, I asked question after question.) I love how God can take people with different backgrounds, locations, and opinions and create a kinship and passion to serve the same squatter’s village in Zambia. God is faithful and to show that, He sent us a brother in Christ, Vince.

Here is a picture of the squatter’s village…the building that is white is Mango Grove school (which will need to be moved now due to government land allocation)

Today’s Reading

Job 19:1 through 21:34

Again we have Job responding, and then his friend Zophar, and then Job responds again.

The verse below jumped out at me with flashing lights. Even in Job’s despair and feeling as God is out to get him—He searched down his heart and finds his faith in God. It’s in there—underneath all those feelings and emotions…and Job declares:

19:25 “I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!”
