What I saw in my yard today that made me VERY happy!
Today’s Reading: Deuteronomy 1:1 through 3:20 (yesterday’s by the time I post it!)
Well, it was kinda hard to stop at 3:20 (I looked ahead but will wait and post tomorrow!)
I love how these chapters focus on what God was saying and doing in the midst of all the Israelites were facing. God was active in their lives—even in the midst of hard times.
vs. 1:29 Do not be shocked, nor fear them. The LORD your God who goes before will Himself fight on your behalf, just as He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, just as a man carries his son, in all the way which you have walked until you came to this place.”
But for all this, you did not trust the LORD your God, who goes before you on your way, to seek out a place for you to encamp
The Lord spoke to me today and told me that I need to be an example for my children in this adoption…especially during all these unknowns and changes and bumps in the road.
They need to see me trusting God and relying on Him. My actions today need to line up with what I have taught them about God. I need to be real—but also full of faith and trust in Him. May I NOT be one who sees God work and move and NOT trust Him.
