My favorite pics from this weekend!

Ab wore his Ethiopian outfit on Easter. I have been searching the internet for one for myself.

Going for that egg!

My Dad, Grandma and me
Big kids getting ready to hunt
Enlisting the help of the little kids
I love this pic…they were having a good time!
Picture of my dad and I but the REAL pic is behind it. Look closely between our heads. Chris is going after Bekah with a pitchfork for getting the egg first. That some rough Easter egg hunting! We laughed and laughed when we saw that!

Chronological Bible Reading
Apr 05 JUDGES 16:1-18:31
Chapter 16 Samson and Delilah
At first glance at this while reading, I am thinking ‘how could he have been so blind and not see what she was up to?’ But I immediately thought afterwards. How many times have I been so blind and couldn’t see? Especially in the midst of sin and desiring things that weren’t supposed to be mine. Our heart can become so deceived and blinded when are walking our own path. We need to make sure to not quench the spirit within us—instead fanning the flame. I am convinced that the more we listen to God’s voice, the more we will hear it and know it is Him.
Chapter 17 and 18
I think this verse sums up these 2 chapters : 17:6 I those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit.
That’s a scary place to be—everyone doing as they see fit. No authority, no right/wrong, no absolute truth. One of my favorite authors/speakers is Ravi Zacharias who speaks to these issues frequently. It’s deep thinking stuff—but worth the time. The radio programs online are my favorites.
well if you have not found an outfit for yourself by July, I will be happy to get you one in Ethiopia when I am there! :)
